About me
I am a 44 year old 3D artist with a wide and varied background within the industry ranging from Architecture, Interiors, Product Design, Exhibition and Retail Displays.
I trained with a Degree in Computer Aided Product Design at University of Wolverhampton gaining a BSc Hons, I then went on to work as a CAD Designer for a couple of engineering company's, one producing machinery for the labeling industry and one producing shopfitting equipment for Sainsburys/ Homebase.
During this time I dedicated myself to learning 3DS Max and I picked up a freelance client who sold retail display units for the Arcadia Group, this gave me confidence in producing visuals for specific deadline.
With this knowledge of both 3DS max, AutoCAD and experience I was then able to secure a role at a Exhibition Production company designing and producing Display Booths and Conference Sets producing Designs, working CAD Drawings and 3D renderings of the booths to show the client the final product, I began to prefer this part of the role and used all my skill and software knowledge to produce the best visuals I could at the time.  It was at this time i was able to pick up V-ray and I began to add this to my software repertoire which aided the quality of the visuals I was able to produce.
After 11 years at the Production company I secured a role with a 3D Visualisation company based in Chelmsford, Essex producing images for Design/Build Companies specialising in Office Fit outs and Cruise Ship interiors, this gained me experience in producing high quality images efficiently and quickly in a very fast paced environment.
After nearly four years in Chelmsford I felt the need to work in London and since then I have worked for three companies based in Shoreditch, Soho and I am now currently employed by Visualhouse London producing images of high end interiors and exteriors for Architects and Designers all over the world.
